| -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A pdf version of our biocard can be found here: ![]() -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Auto!Automatic!! is : Brian 'B.Larsen' Larsen :: taps Alex 'Hale Yeah, G7' Fedele :: sticks Nate 'Tickets Tows & Tradgedies' Murray :: lows Ok here's the deal - Tampa, Florida’s Auto!Automatic!! does not play your typical instrumental indie-rock. Forget about the standard pretension associated with the indie-rock music scene. Instead, it's all about rocking out, but not taking yourself too seriously. It's instrumental, but not self-absorbed. It's math-rock, but has plenty of inherent melody. It’s also about tailgating, I-275 South, heckling with friends and foosball games until 3 A.M. It’s genuine, and it’s unique. Frankly, there isn’t a proper way to label A!A!!'s music. The band holds no regard for what is acceptable in today’s music scene, all without trying too hard to be different. In a state that has produced the collective conscious of Marilyn Manson, O-Town and the Devil Rays, Auto!Automatic!! is poised to change perceptions. Auto!Automatic!! is comprised of three friends who honestly enjoy playing music together as much as they enjoy a party in the parking lot of the Skate Park of Tampa. Alex Fedele commands the drum kit, while Nate Murray completes the rhythm section with bass lines that drive and anchor each song in place. Brian Larsen crafts innovative, finger-tapped guitar lines that exist metaphysically, weaving in and around the solid rhythm. Together, the band naturally combines left-field time changes and did-you-just-hear-that-man? I-mean-really-did-you-just HEAR-THAT? musicianship with straight forward head bobbin‘ rock’n’roll and melodic hooks that capture everyone’s attention. The impetus of the band began in the summer of 2003 when the Chicago native Larsen moved to the sunshine state and began writing songs. The talented and prolific Larsen hunkered down with guitars, pedals, powerbooks, Tarantino DVDs and cases of Leinenkugel in his apartment in Tampa, and developed what has perhaps become the most unique and engaging sound to emerge from the area. At most shows, the band is often found drinking PBR cans with friends, and anyone else who likes to talk about soccer or Ricky Gervais. Due to their ability to command attention at each performance, the band is continually gaining regional support in the already competitive and over-saturated South East music scene. It may sound odd, especially since there is no singer, but it often feels like the band is preaching more than playing, converting more and more people after each song. There is always a crowd of new and old disciples huddled around the merch table for the post-show group hug. With the release of their 13 track debut release "Another Round Won’t Get Us Down," Auto!Automatic!! will leave audiences with something to talk about, all without saying a word themselves. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------RIYL : Minus The Bear, Don Caballero, Ghosts & Vodka, Owls Recommended tracks : 04). 4182333461...Dance! 10).
